Heterotopia
The world is a
topia, our surrounding is a topia. Human is living in a topia, which everyone
has there own world they want to live in. The world that everyone want
differently is what we call a “Heterotopia”, a world in their imagination, the
perfect world they want. The heterotopia is basically based on the perception
of that person on the other hand we can call these world a utopia for each
different person. From the lecture we discussed about the movie “The Hunger
Games”. This film simulates the three worlds “Utopia”, “Heterotopia” and
“Dystopia”. Separating the world into twelve districts, each of them differently.
The capital is the Utopia where everyone is happy and satisfied with their life
and what they have. The capital provides everything a human wants. Unlikely the
other cities have to live completely differently. The quality of life is
totally different from the capital. So the quality of living is what separates
the definition of each world.
